The Storm Prediction Center’s 3:00 p.m. update shows there is a risk of isolated tornadoes in southwest Lower Michigan. There is also a chance of scattered damaging wind gusts and large hail for at least half of southern Lower Michigan. Here are the forecasts from the Storm Prediction Center. I will add the newest forecasts as they issue them before 9:00 p.m.

The tornado risk this evening stretches from Grand Rapids to near Lansing to Jackson and into the southwest corner of Lower Michigan, including Kalamazoo and Battle Creek.
