In Tripura, the special project ‘TRIPTI’ is changing the lives of rural families. The project is funded by the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihood Mission and the Ministry of Rural Development. The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission is carrying out this program in Tripura.
The program has helped around 4000 of the poorest rural families across two districts. The program participants, called ‘Didis’, have made it beyond achieving financial stability. Didis now have aspirations, spend leisure time, make plans for the future and have relationships within their social circles. The program has helped to improve their overall quality of life.
The Economic Inclusion Program - ‘The/Nudge’ has helped the three didis who started nine months ago.
